Everyone at Peccadillo is very excited by Sunday's news from Cannes that Brillante Mendoza won Best Director for his highly controversial new film, 'Kinatay'. His innovative shooting style and edgy scripts meant that it was about time his visionary talents were soon recognised.Peccadillo released his cult classic, 'The Masseur' on DVD last year and next year we'll be releasing his intense thriller 'Slingshot' which has been a massive hit at various festivals across the UK.
